Monrovia – Striker Musa Kebbeh scored a hat-track to help Grand Cape Mount County based FC Bea Mountain demolish Mighty Barrolle 6-0 in continuation of the Liberia Football Association’s (LFA) second division league at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia.

Striker Kebbeh’s three goals came through placement.
Bea Mountains otherwise known as ‘Gold boys’ ended the first half with a 3-0 advantage after midfielder Leon Quamie, Lassana Sesay, and Kebbeh scored in the 9th , 24th and 26th minutes, respectively.
Midfielder Quamie’s goal came through placement from a cross received from defender Jacob Popo. Striker Sesay scored after totally disorganizing the defense of the Rollers.
Seh Coleman scored the winning side’s last goal in the 89th minute through a placement from a cross received from Kebbeh.
Players of Barrolle lost total control of the ball to their opponents throughout the match due to their poor ball possession and faulty passes.
Midfielder Somah was red carded in the 70th minute for improper conduct.
Striker Dahnjudu Sawmahdah could have scored a consolation goal for the Rollers in the 77th minute through a spot kick after defender and Captain Karleo Karfiah of FC Bea Mountain brought down striker Togba down in the 18th yard but he threw the ball out for goal kick to the “Gold Boy”.
The Gold boys’ Captain Karfiah told FrontPageAfrica that he is happy for his side’s 6-0 triumphed over the Rollers because it has helped them to move at the top of their group. He is confident that they will maintain their position until they are crowned champions of the league.
“Our convincing win against Barrolle is also a revenge for the 1-0 defeat we suffered at their hands at our back yard in Cape Mount County. We are sure of winning our last game of the season which would help us to maintain our position at the top of our group.”
Captain Archie Brown of Barrolle described his side’s lost to the visitors as unbelievable and blamed members of his midfield and forward liners for the defeat.
“The failure of members of our midfield and forward liners to control the ball just as our opponents did, led to our defeat,” Brown said.
